May The Force Be With You Luke!

One of the things I love about doing this job is talking about emerging new brands that filter into Football Casual culture. One that I am starting to admire is Luke 1977. This fellah has created a nice collection of jeans, polos and jackets. My highlight range is the jackets. Like Stone Island and C.P Company, he has adopted a clean linear and almost military flavour to his jackets. For me the best garments are the most simple in terms of design - but using the best mix of fabrics and finishing. Jackets start from £120.

The Real International Football Factories

Starts on Bravo on Monday at 10pm. I've been watching The Real Football Factories as a much as I can and am looking forward to the international one.

The thing that annoys me the most though is Danny Dyer - the geezer is an idiot really. I know I have given him a write-up on the site - but he truly is clueless. He gives it all the large in front of the camera and then as soon as he is in a firm's boozer he's proper arse-licking.

In my opinion, I've always felt that the English firms have played by a certain rule book. They've always known where to ultimately draw the line. From what I understand in places like Eastern Europe the regard for life is much lower and often rows end up with numerous fatalaties.

Do you reckon going to Europe is a different game these days or do you think the media blow it all out of proportion?

Style - of Biblical Proportions

The Oi Polloi of today's fashion world are a fairly snooty bunch and don't like the thought of 'ruffians' spoiling their elitist fun. It just so happens I have stumbled upon a website which is a must for anyone who works in fashion - giving them exclusive tips on sample sales for the likes of Paul Smith, Hackett and Hugo Boss. If you fancy getting in on this then visit www.StyleBible.com - but word of warning - they will want you to part with fifty notes to be a member!

Has the Chav ruined OneTrueSaxon?

I am hearing stories from my friends in the North that Chavs are fast embracing the OneTrueSaxon brand. If the phenomenon continues to grow, we could have another Burberry and Aquascutum on our hands. The end of a brand as we know it in casual culture. With the last two brands, divvy chav kids over-saturate the market and start creating a moody fakes problem.

Can anyone verify whether they are seeing a similar thing in their neck of the woods? Contact us as I may have to abandon adding this brand to the clothes section.

What a Croc of s**t!

Today I am posting about people who think Croc shoes looks good - on adults. I don't know if anyone knows of casuals wearing these - but I can safely say that I certainly haven't seen anyone with credibility sporting a pair. A definite no no for Summer. Why look like a 5 year old in orthopaedic Jelly shoes?

I'd rather cut off my jolly roger than walk around looking like some Dutch nonce case.

Oki are more than okay.....

FootballCasual.com is delighted to welcome a new retailer to our growing list of recommended online stores. We've been keen to hook up with Oki-Ni for a while as we believe they stock some truly top drawer, first class gear. The fact that they work with the likes of adidas, Aquascutum, 6876 and Fake London Genius in creating truly exclsuive and limited edition lines made them very attractive.

So keep coming back to the clothes section as we start adding some great items to the site.
